This Revolutionary Era farm has been cultivated by our family for over 150 years and has a very productive and progressive farming history. With tobacco, corn, soybeans, wheat, and cotton in our past, we are following tradition in row crops and making history in industrial hemp and feminized hemp seed.
Before European settlers arrived in this rural South Carolina community, it was the site of a Chickasaw village. The Chickasaws were hunters, gatherers and were the original farmers of this land. While walking our hemp field we came across an arrowhead. It is a symbol of great significance and is the origin of our Arrowhead Seed Company name. It symbolizes the piercing effect of a taproot.
